You'll know why Jim Burrous is smiling when you meet him. "I'm always happy because I have a great marriage of 37 years to my high school sweetheart!" Jim explains. Jim and his wife, Debbie have two children, Michael and Brad, two grandchildren, Chloe and Tyler, and are awaiting another youngster this summer. We sure hope that little baby likes fresh air and sunshine as one of the family's favorite get-togethers is throwing their many fish frys at area lakes.

A native of Angelina County, Jim and his wife Debbie moved to Nacogdoches from Lufkin in 1998 and owned and operated the local Sears Dealer Store for 6 years. Discovering that Nacogdoches was full of wonderful people, the couple decided to make it their home. After his studies at SFA and Angelina College, Jim ventured out in the business world as an entrepreneur and real estate investor. Since 1972, Jim has owned numerous rent houses and has the experience to recognize quality real estate investment opportunities.

A licensed Realtor for 20 years, Jim closed on the Austin Hills 73+ homes retirement development within one year of joining the Coldwell Banker Choice, Realtors team. Austin Hills is the first senior citizens planned development in Nacogdoches, one of the first Texas cities to be declared a Certified Retirement Community. Jim's success and experience has allowed him to develop a real know-how in all aspects of real estate. Commercial and residential, investment or retirement, Jim specializes "in it all!". Working hard and helping people fulfill their dreams are what Jim loves most as a Broker Associate.

And, hard work is no stranger to Jim Burrous. He started working in his early teens at the Country Grocery Store and Gas Station in nearby Burke, Texas. "I sacked groceries, stocked shelves, cut bacon, delivered feed and pumped gas," Jim relates. "Hard work. I've been doing it all my life," he adds with a smile.

When Jim takes time off for his family and community, he takes it seriously. Outdoor family time and frequent family visits to neighboring Diboll are tops on his list. Jim is also sure to set aside time every summer for his volunteer work at the Lion's Club Crippled Children's Camp in Kerrville, Texas He also serves thoughout the year as a Tail Twister (similar to a court jester) for the Nacogdoches Breakfast Lion's Club, of which he is past president. On Sundays, you'll find the Burrous family at the Stallings Drive Church of Christ where Jim is an active member.

Tami Cuthbertson
Sales Associate 

Blending art and business, Tami Cuthbertson sold her very first client's home within one week of signing. "My client and I went out together and bought paint, draperies, and whatever else we needed to stage her home for a wonderful presentation," Tami explains, reminding home sellers about the importance of home staging a house before showing it to prospective buyers. "For such a small cost - we try to keep it under $200 - the results are very advantageous to the seller," Tami says of her service in readying homes for showings. As owner of TC Design Solutions, a Nacogdoches-based home staging and interior design company, Tami provides a powerful service to her clients. "I just love homes and architecture and if they're presented properly, it makes the real estate process that much more successful for my clients," she says. 

In fact, at the age of 21, Tami's own first home buying and selling process was so successful that she launched her real estate career even as she pursued a double major at Stephen F. Austin University. 

Now at 25-years-old, Tami is a licensed real estate agent, home owner, business owner, and a 2008 SFA graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Interior Architecture Design and Art. "My favorite part in all this is helping people find a home they can really enjoy," Tami says. 

Tami's family plays an important role in her life. "My brother and sister and I are very close," Tami says. "We started our own club - the 'C' Club - when we were kids, and we still get together to dance, and laugh and talk. It's fun!" she adds. Tami has even traveled to Japan and other destinations to visit her sister who loves world travel. 

Tami's home life is full and exciting, too. She has converted a work shed on her property into an art studio where she creates vases, bowls and other ceramic pieces on her urn. Tami even has an kitty-cat audience who loves to watch her create art - Choo-Choo, Cutie, and Chiquita. 17-year-old Choo-Choo has been keeping an eye on Tami since elementary school. "She's the love of my life!" Tami says warmly of the elderly, but sassy feline. 

A Nacogdoches native, Tami Cuthbertson stays active in the community. She has designed and built wheelchair ramps for Habitat for Humanity and volunteers at the Alley O'Malley Cat Rescue. And when Tami goes out on the town, it's usually to the movie theatres to see her favorite genre, romantic "girlie" movies like '13 Going On 30' and 'Notebook'.

Diana Innerarity

"My trademark is my availability to buyers and sellers," says native Texan and MLS Committee Board member, Diana Innerarity. Diana explains that she knows how important it is to have a real estate agent who is caring, capable and communicative. "I want my clients to know that can call me at their convenience and on their schedule, not mine," Diana adds. 

Diana Innerarity launched her real estate career in Conroe, Texas in 1974 and as a licensed Agent, she is now helping people make their home and property wishes come true in Nacogdoches County. A positive, energetic and hard-working person, Diana is also on the Nacogdoches County Board of Realtors. 

Born in Pasadena, Diana and her husband of 23 years, Dennis Innerarity, moved to Nacogodches in 1988 where they raised five children and experience the joy of welcoming six grandchildren into their family. "My grandkids are my life," Diana enthuses and reveals that playtime with them is her favorite thing to do. Diana and the kids love to go to Nacogdoches' beautiful parks, swim, run around and "basically just have a good time being together!". 

Diana enjoys staying involved with the Nacogdoches community and volunteers every year at the Relay-for-Life and Do-Dat BBQ fundraisers, and her church's Friends Annual Day. She also supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation who she says went out of their way for her precious nephew. 

It's a good thing Diana likes being busy. "Doing chores like yard work is actually relaxing to me," she says. Even something as simple as watering the lawn helps Diana take thing off her mind. Then, there's the annual Mother/Daughter cruise Diana takes every September with her daughter to Cozumel, Mexico. Where do you get all that energy, Diana? "From the excitement of finding that perfect property that people are happy with."

Linda Smelley
Sales Associate 

Talk about experience! "I started before there was an MLS - back in the times when we borrowed keys," Linda Smelley says. With over 40 years in real estate helping buyers and sellers come together, Linda really knows the ropes. "It's just that I want things to go well for people when they make a real estate decision," Linda explains, adding that especially for first home buyers, their experience should be a good one. 

A native Texan, Linda and her husband of 41 years, Alfred, live in on their family's original homestead in a house her 98-year-old grandfather built 34 years ago. The original 1910 homestead is vacant, but sometimes late in the evening, Linda hears "strange noises out back!"  

Linda recalls that their decision to move from Houston was a desire to live on more acreage and to get away from the big city congestion. "And Alto is a great town for us to be outside, work in the yard, and walk and play with our four grand-children," she says. "There's also plenty of room for our four dogs and 1 cat!" Linda adds. 

Linda's numerous clients describe her as hard-working, very honest and serious about their needs. Coming from Coldwell Banker United in Houston, Linda explains that she wants to stay with Coldwell Banker because of the caliber of company it is and because of the strong reputation. "And, of course, I really like our website!" she exclaims. 

As a member of the Houston,Texas and National Associations of Realtors, a Relocation Specialist, and full-time licensed real estate agent, Linda still takes time to enjoy her favorite activity - shopping! From antique stores to Stein Mart in Tyler, Linda loves finding unique items and intelligent buys. Linda also supports theDepelchin Faith Home in Houston where she and Alfred fostered 12 children in the early 1980's.

Bradley Wilson
Realtor 

Bradley Wilson was 20 years old when he bought his first home. "Since I had worked in construction as a teenager, I developed a huge interest in homes," Bradley says. That interest turned into immediate success in his real estate career. In his first year, Bradley was a million dollar producer for the Coldwell Banker Choice, Realtors team and was rated 3rd best with Nacogdoches MLS. 

Now at 24 years of age, Bradley continues a determined path and persistent involvement in real estate. Interaction with clients and the public is one of his favorite aspects of being an agent. "I really love Nacogdoches and introducing it to people," he says. Bradley was born and raised in Nacogdoches as was most of his family. His decision to begin a career in real estate is also strongly based on his desire to be a big part of the Nacogdoches community. 

Big part, indeed. Bradley Wilson is the 2008 Chairman of the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee, more commonly recognized as TREPAC. Bradley tells us that it is his responsibility to bring issues of importance and relevance to the public and to real estate professionals. He tries to keep the Texans aware of real estate tax legislation and the voting records of Texas Senators and Representatives. 

If you've ever attended Nacogdoches community events like the Chamber's Alive After Five series or ribbon cutting events, you've probably spotted Bradley. "I'm finding that my social life is mixing with my career," he says, explaining that most of his friends are also business associates. 

Bradley Wilson loves Nacogdoches because it's "calm, relaxing, and beautiful." He is also a movie buff with complete collections of the Indiana Jones movies and others. "I must have 100 new DVD's at home!" Bradley admits. He also enjoys eating out at the many wonderful restaurants in Nacogdoches. Bradley's favorite is Annie Pasta's, but he is a connoisseur of most eateries. So if you ever need a restaurant recommendation in Nacogdoches, just give him a call! 

Bradley also supports the American Cancer Society and participates in many related events in tribute to his beloved grandfather.
